Steps for Transferring a Credit Limit:
If your current Third party credit limit is tied to a supplier you no longer plan to work with, CreditsSource can help you reallocate that credit to a new supplier seamlessly.
How It Works
Before initiating the transfer, our team conducts a thorough assessment to ensure a smooth transition:
Step 1: Preliminary Analysis
We gather detailed information about your current credit structure, including:
Your total Third Party credit limit.
Which suppliers currently hold a portion of your limit.
The suppliers you wish to transfer your credit limit to.
We verify that your company:
Is not listed on any commercial blacklists.
Has no unresolved debts with Chinese suppliers.
Step 2: Supplier Negotiation
We engage with your new and previous suppliers to prepare and agree on the necessary credit limit reallocation.
Step 3: Credit Limit Transfer
Once all documentation and approvals are in place, we handle the entire transfer process with CreditsSourcs, ensuring your limit is successfully
reassigned.
With CreditsSource, you stay focused on business—while we take care of the red tape.
Supplier Negotiations
At this stage, CreditsSource’s China office will engage directly with your suppliers to initiate the credit limit transfer process. Our approach is transparent and strategic, ensuring all parties are aligned.
Our Objectives:
-
Collect Key Information
We gather details from the supplier currently holding your credit limit, including:-
Insurance policy number
-
The amount of credit limit currently allocated
-
-
Assess Willingness to Release
We determine whether the supplier is willing to release the credit limit either partially or fully. -
Obtain Consent or Proceed Strategically
If the supplier agrees, we facilitate a direct and smooth transfer.
If they decline, CreditsSource proceeds through the local CreditsSource office (formerly handled by Sinosure), bypassing the need for supplier consent in many cases. -
Coordinate with New Supplier
We also guide the receiving supplier on how to apply for the incoming credit limit and fulfill any procedural requirements.
Once these negotiations are complete, we formulate a customized credit limit transfer strategy and present it to you for final approval.
CreditsSource handles every complexity—so your business credit stays agile, scalable, and fully optimized.
